Re: PegasusDesigns -My Shapeways shop.

Nice one, - as long as it's to scale!! A low relief building. I must admit disappointment with Shapeways buildings mostly because of scale. Some I bought I reckon are about 1/550, too small to integrate with items to the correct scale. Good luck with this and your shop, all the same. cheers, Ivor. ...

PegasusDesigns -My Shapeways shop.

Hey guys, I've not been around for a while, but now I'm back. I've finally opened up a Shapeways shop called PegasusDesigns . I would've ideally loved to have called it JBM but I stuck with PegasusDesigns as I don't plan on sticking to model trains alone. In terms of T-gauge I've got just one produ...

T-gauge Wishlist

Hope no one minds me posting a wishlist here. But I have a few suggestions that are actually quite easy for Eishindo to do and requires either a new livery or a slight modification. Moreover this may attract buyers from newer countries.... So here goes.... These require a new livery application:- 1...

TGauge.com - A little Q&A.

Hey, Some days ago I posted a few questions on the TGauge.com facebook page and received the replies today. So I will share it here in case it's of use to someone. Q) Noticed that a prototype coupling was done a few months ago that resembled the OO gauge tension lock couplings. When is that going t...

Re: 2015 catalog is out

Hi Ozrail, Thanks for taking the time to post that. A real pity that nothing new has come out really. What I'd really want to see is a Siemens Velaro D . Not only can this be used for one of the versions of the DB ICE but can also be used for the Eurostar e320 . This is just a simple way to be able...

Re: SketchUp (and/or alternatives)

I've got a simple way of saving stuff. After each 3D modelling session I just save it and also save a copy and email it to myself. In fact that's always been what I do. :P :P

Re: SketchUp (and/or alternatives)

I feel horrid. Everything else is perfect. Just my work is all gone. Learning how to use a new software is daunting and it means a delay is bring out 3D prints for our community. I could however in the meantime step into brass etching kits for now.

SketchUp (and/or alternatives)

Hey, Today after updating my laptop to Windows 10 I realized that I've lost everything (SketchUp + the models I designed and the ones I was designing). 2-3 years ago I remember installing SketchUp free of cost. Now it seems there has been a change and there is only trials offered. Have I missed som...

Re: The making of a viaduct..

There's also the option of making 1 or 2 master prints and then making moulds for resin cast stuff too. The good thing is that with multiple moulds you can cast multiple objects and speed up the process in case you want to sell stuff like this. I'd prefer the 3D printing method also no matter what ...

I was thinking of a very simple design like this. Though it will only be possible for locos with big driving wheels.

Steam locomotive wheels?

Hey folks,

Any idea what can be done to make steam locomotive driving wheels and pony truck wheels? Anyone else tackled this before with success and if so then how did you'll go about it?

Cheers,
JBM.
