Thanks guys! I'll try to sell some model once I iron all bugs and glitches out and try to make them reliable as possible as I can.
Yep, last Academic year at college. It's a great feeling knowing you'll be finished soon and hop into the real world that can truly fund your projects.

Re: SD70M - Powered
Hi everyone, I'm still alive. Just trying to dodge the fearsome college assignments. Sadly, I did not make any progress so far from the last progress I had done. I took a break, I may still be on break for a few bit longer. I realized that I'll have to do more research on gears and what the best opt...

RIT Tiger Track Train Show (Rochester, NY USA) Dec 12 and 13
Hello everyone! I'm still alive haha! Unfortunately, I believe this will be my last year at Tiger Track Train Show since I'm graduating... I'm bringing my T-Gauge layout again this year! I'll be bringing my briefcase and several trains. Sadly my custom trains are still not done, I had to take a brea...

Re: SketchUp (and/or alternatives)
I made the same mistake upgrading to Windows 10, my autodesk inventor software no longer functions. I had to downgrade to Windows 8.1 to regain the functionality. Luckly my models were on the cloud otherwise they could gone missing. I'm not sure, also make sure SketchUp is supported in Windows 10. I...

Do they allow thinner wall? (Less than 0.3mm thick) Or do they allow finer details? (Smaller than 0.1mm)

Re: Santa Fe 2-10-2 Steam Locomotive
I'm really not sure! I left my layout at home, so I only have three straight tracks. If it can't make narrow curves, I'll trim the middle three set of wheels to remove the flange.

Re: I had been too quiet too long.
Update, I decided that I will wait on getting my projector for my 3D printer. I am hoping to have my printer completed by September 2015.
I have too many things on my mind and college work is becoming challenging.

Santa Fe 2-10-2 Steam Locomotive
Hello, I'm surprised that I did not create a new thread on my creation of Santa Fe 2-10-2 steam locomotive. I guess I forgot to since we changed over to the new forum several years ago. I originally started on this project back in 2012 and I stopped working on it because it was found to be too compl...

I think that feature is pretty cool, I agree with matt that we could experiment with this function to see if it is successfully attracting users.

Re: RIT Tiger Tracks (DEC. 13-14)
I got it figured out, one of my friend will be coming to watch the layout while I grab lunch. It shouldn't be too hard to watch a layout that is smaller than a 23" computer monitor. There are a lot train shows displaying T-Gauge in UK, I wanted to bring some to US. Last year was my first, people wer...

RIT Tiger Tracks (DEC. 13-14)
Hello everyone, I will be bringing my briefcase layout to the train show (it'll be close to the entrance). The layout is a simple oval, with ICE train running around. I also will be bringing my SD70M project (not functional yet) to show. This train show is located in Rochester, NY. 127 Lomb Memorial...

Very interesting! Is the raft removable after the 3D printing is complete or is it now a permanent part of the 3D model?
