The 0-4-0 makes me happy knowing a motorised T-gauge Thomas is possible.

Re: Auto Train Exchange System
I've setup a similar system for my layout. Only all the trains go in one direction. I used a One-direction Power Cable on the main track. and either a One-way Power Cable 'A' or 'B' for the holding area. The only issue I have is that the sensors need a timer for my main stock to exit the holding are...

Re: Class 08 - RTR
Well looks like it's time to retire another of my 3D prints. Anyway, you could couple two together, and presto Master and Slave formation, 13 class. 12 wheel pick up and double the power? Although how you would make it look like the cab is missing off one of them might be tricky. https://upload.wiki...

Re: Smoking QTT/T Gauge steam locomotive
Sorry Uwe, I was only kidding about buying the models. As much as I love one, I would feel bad to see you depart with any of them. Eishindo is also still trying to make a Steam loco. I was fortunate enough to see some prototype photos. The little Motor units still work, bit temperamental (stall on p...

Re: Smoking QTT/T Gauge steam locomotive
I'd probably order one without the smoke unit. :-) (I have enough trouble with G-Scale smoke units) And if I can afford this beauty, I can certainly afford one of yours. 20171101_122044.jpg Although I might be a while to get the money. (I still have the little motor units you made me years ago. ;-) )

Re: Anybody in????
I'm still into T-gauge.
Just waiting for Eishindo to release the electronics to control the new turnout switches.
Working hard to make a new animation to get the funds to support my shapeways test prints.
In the meantime, I've recently got to try out my other addition.

I may have the unpainted prototypes somewhere. (Jinty, Pannier and Saddle)
You get packs of three because these are a little delicate and if one breaks you have 2 more tries.

Re: Crescent Limited 4-6-2
Nice progress, I bought one of these in N-scale in Oct 2015.
Hopefully yours doesn't explode after 10 mins of running, but then again, mind had a faulty DCC chip in the tender.

Not sure how easily a body swap will be, as I've seen a prototype for their steam loco. (They were kind enough to send me a photo.)
But one can hope.

Re: OzRailways Flying Scotsman
Yes, the Wheels are spaced to work with the Flying Scotsman rods. The Wheels are not handling curves for several reasons, and magnet in the switches are effecting the drive wheels. Not to mention each other, I might need to de-magnet the middle one. Yes I know Steam engines are a challenge, but I ha...

Re: OzRailways Flying Scotsman
Reviving someone else's old thread as I'm too lazy to start a new one. I still around, but not as active as I use to be since I'm currently $18,000 in debt due to purchasing a loco at the other end of the scale. (7 1/4inch gauge) Which is why I haven't been doing much here. :-) Anyway I have been tr...

Maybe it's time to retire
I had planned to write a boring long speech thing about why.
But I guess there isn't much interesting to say in the end.
I'm debating on whether to keep my shapeways models available.
But if it's like previous experiences someone will outshine me and produce more higher quality works.

Re: Utilising sensors, power one-way and one-direction cable
I don't know if this is the same thing as to what you are achieving. (I'm struggling to read all the text at nearly 10pm at night.) But I have used a One-way cable and a one-directional on my layout to run 2 trains in a relay-race type of method. The one direction cable is used to house a train in t...

Re: Interested in T Gauge but some stuff turns me off
Welcome to the world of T-gauge. Here is my attempt at answering your questions. 1. Turnouts, unfortunately that is all the company has to offer, S bend types. Eishindo were developing others, but have seem to have stopped for unknown reasons. If you are extremely skilled, you could try making a tur...
