That's not a bad idea... I think a ton of wagons can be done using etches. I think they will be cheaper too...clives wrote:Any news on the etched mineral wagons with ceramic wheel sets that Alan was proposing and had done a test model of ?.

Re: shapeways print orientation
I'm afraid I lost confidence in Shapeways to do anything about the issue of differring orientation almost three years ago. I believe they were talking about giving a choice over orientation back then....but did nothing! It was certainly about that time when I complained about two identical parts be...

Re: UK outline stock
Well, I finally picked up my parcel and got a first look at the stock! I'm very happy with the 313 and the first print I have of the 158 too! I have once again though fallen into the T gauge trap and made some details too small. Most noticeable is my container wagon designed to hide a power unit. T...

Re: UK Stock?
Hey guys!
It's now 99.99% done...the bogies as you can see are a bit fat. I will have to reduce the width of the frames. That is a 2 min job. Let me know what you'll think.
Cheers.

Re: UK Stock?
Would love to see any American Steam locomotives. I do not have a problem with using a coach for power. I would add a light to the engine so it would look like it was powered when running! The K4 or 4 6 2 Pacific would be great, but why not go for the crazy cool project, the Big Boy. How neat would...

Hi JB Models, It looks like you are off to a great start in designing some great TGauge products! Keep up the great work. Problem with Sketchup?
Hi, I've always had the habit of designing my models in 1:1 scale and after it's done I usually scale it down to the desired scale. However of late I started to feel that SketchUp isn't T-gauge friendly. Almost all models I have worked on when scaled down to 1:450 suddenly have a ton of missing sur...

T gauge - General Queries
Hey, I've just got a few queries about T gauge that I wish to clarify and so thought I'd start a topic for it. Q) What is the diameter of T gauge wheels? Q) Are there any other couplings for T gauge? (I saw something like a OO gauge tension lock on facebook) Q) Are there more options for turnouts? ...
