What is the best way to fix track to a baseboard?

I’m worried about damaging the plastic track bed moulding if I use screws or pins. What have people found to be the best way of fixing to an MDF or plywood baseboard?

This works better than I thought it would! :D :D :D :D

Have just experimented with a couple of short pieces of track....only 1" each to be honest but i think that was enough to encourage me. I used Loctite Superglue as you suggested and also Bostik Glue & Fix all Purpose. The Bostik is not an out and out ...
