Hey folks,
Any idea what can be done to make steam locomotive driving wheels and pony truck wheels? Anyone else tackled this before with success and if so then how did you'll go about it?
Cheers,
JBM.
Steam locomotive wheels?
Steam locomotive wheels?
LOL! Some people need a to think logically, or rather just have common sense!
Re: Steam locomotive wheels?
There is a photo of some really neat looking metal steam loco wheels on Tgauge.com's facebook page...I wonder why alota stuff I see like these Tgauge wheels isn't for sale yet....((?)wonder if the wheels in the photo are really 1/450th scale))
I got some T gauge steam locomotive bodies from shapeways>The wheels were separate>Simple plastic disks>But the little locomotive bodies looked pretty good>just for fun I tried to see what some smaller Z scale wheels would look like on the little T gauge Steam locos.......
Guess I better stick with water color painting

Re: Steam locomotive wheels?
I was thinking of a very simple design like this. Though it will only be possible for locos with big driving wheels.
